1. The club and facilities are for the use of tennis members and guests only. tennis ball on a tennis courtPlace used towels in the bins provided by the front desk.
  2. Please respect club property.
  3. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times, both in the club and on the courts. Only proper tennis attire is permitted while playing tennis.
  4. The same pair of tennis shoes cannot be used on clay and hard courts. Shoes must be removed once having walked or played on the clay upon re-entering the main building.
  5. Clay courts must be swept 5 minutes prior to end of your court time.
  6. Please do not consume alcoholic beverages in the club.
  7. Please use the garbage and recycling bins provided in the club.
  8. Please avoid use of cell phones during play on the courts.
  9. Please do not use abusive language on the courts and inside the club.
  10. Please do not smoke on club property.
  11. Please do not bring pets inside the club.


    1. Enter the court after the second buzzer. Do not walk onto another court during a game. Wait for the players to finish the game, or the point, before walking onto their court. It is very distracting to have someone disrupt a game in progress, so if you must cross another court, do so after the point is finished, and go around the court, not through the middle.
    2. Once the first buzzer sounds, finish playing your last point. The few remaining minutes are allocated for court clean up of balls, tennis gear, and towels. The Clay courts require sweeping and lines cleared during the last 5 minutes of your court Players should be off of their court by the second buzzer to allow the next booking the same maximum playing time.
    3. To retrieve a ball from another court, wait until the players have completed a point to ask them to return it to you. To return a ball to another court, wait for a break in play on their court or roll the ball to the back of their court. Under no circumstances should you run over onto their court in the middle of a point to retrieve the ball yourself.
    4. Show respect and courtesy to your opponent(s), your partner, and others on or near the courts. Keep your voice down and confined to your court as much as possible so as not to disrupt players on adjacent courts. 
    5. A maximum of 4 players are allowed on the court at one time (except during club activities such as clinics or social activities). Spectators are asked to remain in the viewing areas, i.e. hard court 1 and clay court 7 sitting areas. Spectators are not permitted on the court and cannot participate with the lesson or game.
    6. Players may use a maximum of 6 tennis balls on the court. Baskets of balls are not permitted. Exception applies to the club coaching staff and/or a member practicing serves, provided he or she is the only one on the court. Members and Guests are not permitted to feed balls or coach during court time.
    7. Proper tennis shoes must be worn. Hard court: only non-marking soled shoes allowed. Clay court: a pair of shoes designated for the clay court surface. Brushes and a changing area complete with shoes storage and shoe bags are provided for your convenience.
    8. All players must check in upon arrival and complete payment at the VTC Reception desk before entering the court. Each player utilizing the court must be properly listed on the master court bookings.


  • A maximum of 4 players are allowed on the court at one time (except during club activities such as clinics or social activities). Spectators are not permitted on the court except in the designated spectator area.
  • Baskets of balls are not permitted on the court at any time. A maximum of 6 balls is permitted. The only exemption is for a member booking a court to practice serving. A member may bring their own basket of balls, provided he or she is the only one on the court. 
  • Outside coaching is strictly prohibited for both members and non-members of the club.
  • CLAY COURTS must be dragged after each use. Please use the plastic bags provided to change shoes after clay court use to eliminate clay in the clubhouse.

  • Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am-9:00pm

 Non Prime Time and Court Fees:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am-11:30am:  court fee $24 per hour
  • “Play and save” Monday to Friday 7am-8:30am (upon request): court fee $20
  • “Play and save” Monday to Friday 11:30am to 4:30pm:  court fee $18 per hour

 Prime Time and Court Fees:

  • Monday Friday: 4:30pm-10:30pm:  court fee $28 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am-9:00pm:  court fee $28 per hour

Guest Fees

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am-8:30am $10/guest on court
    • 8:30am-11:30am $20/adult $10/junior guest on court
    • 11:30am-4:30pm: $20/guest on court
    • 4:30-10:30pm $20/adult $10/junior guest on court
  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am-9:00pm $20/adult $10/junior guest on court



Methods of court bookings: 

  • Members may book online from 7:00am, up to 7 days from the current day of their court booking
  • In person at the VTC Reception, or by telephone.
  • The VTC reserves the right to assign courts to all members and guests.

All courts are booked on a first-come first-serve basis and adhere to the Advanced Booking rules below:

  • VTC members may book a court one week in advance
  • Court bookings are limited to a maximum of two hour durations at one time.
  • Court bookings during prime time are limited to 4 hours of doubles per week or 2 hours of singles per week. Court bookings during non-prime time hours are unlimited.
  • The VTC Member making the reservation will be deemed the primary owner of the booking (first name listed). Upon reserving, two (2) names for singles or four (4) names for doubles are required. Any unpaid fee will be charged to the primary owner.
  • All VTC members must complete and sign a Waiver/Release Form prior to playing tennis.
  • Founding Members may book a court two weeks advance. All above rules apply otherwise.



  • Non-members/Guests in good standing may book a court only on the same day of use.
  • Non-members/Guests must adhere to all VTC General Rules, Tennis Rules and Etiquette.
  • An additional guest fee is charged to every non-member/guest whether accompanied by a VTC member or not, during non-prime and prime time. $10.00 will be charged during “Play and Save” time ,7am to 8:30am.  A guest fee of $20 will be charged at 11:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. A guest fee of $20 will be charged during prime time Mon to Fri 4:30 to 10:30pm and Sat and Sun all day.
    • Non-members/Guests not playing with a VTC member and booking a court must provide their first and last name, phone number and credit card information.
    • An annual Waiver/Release Form must be completed and signed prior to playing tennis



  • Courts Bookings may be cancelled no less than 24 hours prior from the reserved booking time.
  • All Members will be charged for late cancellations and no-shows and must pay the court fee before their next scheduled play.
  • Private Lessons may be cancelled no less than 24 hours prior from the scheduled lesson time. All lessons cancelled within 24 hours will not be refunded. Please schedule since this is strictly enforced as a courtesy to the teaching staff.
